Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field plus 2–5 years' transformer testing experience.
• Broad knowledge of QA and Manufacturing procedures.
• Familiarity with electrical power tests (polarity, resistance, insulation tests, etc.).
• Strong math, communications, and data handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct environmental, operational, or performance tests on transformer products.
• Lead engineering personnel in fabrication of test equipment and control devices.
• Coordinate calibration and installation of instruments to test and record data.
• Interpret blueprints and test data to ensure specifications are met.
• Provide leadership for customer testing and maintain good customer relations.
• Perform repairs on testing components and assess equipment for compliance.
