Job summary

Hyosung HICO Ltd. in Memphis, TN, is seeking an Associate Test Lab Inspector to assist with test setup and preparation for mechanical and electrical transformer tests. You will perform basic assembly, oil sampling, data entry, and configure units under supervision.

The role requires a two-year associate degree in electrical or related technical field, plus hands-on inspection tools experience and strong communication and math skills. On-site position with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Two-year Associate's Degree in electrical or related technical field or equivalent
• Developed written and verbal communication skills
• Developed math and electrical engineering skills
• Broad experience using inspection tools, instruments and equipment
• Developed computer skills for data entry and retrieval

Responsibilities

• Prepare hardware and wiring for transformer tests and safe test environments
• Assist in electrical and mechanical tests under guidance
• Set up transformers for tests; stage materials per check sheets
• Log oil test data and sample oil from transformers
• Change transformer configurations to complete tests as required
• Verify calibration status of test equipment and report out-of-calibration status
• Operate cranes and other material handling equipment as needed
• Support Quality/Production as required
• Follow HICO policies and procedures
• Comply with 6S workplace organization and safety requirements
