Job summary

Quanta Government Solutions seeks a Project Engineer to oversee the design of high voltage infrastructure projects, providing oversight to the design team and supporting EPC proposals.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Electrical Engineering with a PE license and extensive experience in substations or transmission lines. Travel is up to 10–25% and collaboration with government agencies and contractors is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in electric utility engineering for high voltage projects.
• P.E. license required.
• Strong knowledge of codes and standards (IEEE, NEC, NESC).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design of high voltage infrastructure from concept to near-final.
• Provide oversight to the design team and support EPC proposals.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Maintain project documentation and quality control records.
