Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee the design of high voltage infrastructure projects, providing oversight for the design team and supporting EPC proposals for substations and transmission lines.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in the electric utility industry, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (ABET), and a P.E. license, with strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in the electric utility industry with detailed engineering experience for high voltage projects.
• Able to work across civil, structural, electrical, or mechanical disciplines.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards (ANSI, ASTM, ACI, AISC, IEEE, NEC, NESC).

Responsibilities

• Oversee design from inception to completion for high voltage substations or transmission lines.
• Review calculations, drawings, and specifications for electrical infrastructure.
• Ensure projects meet budget, schedule, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with government agencies, contractors and stakeholders.
• Maintain engineering documentation and project records.
• Lead quality control and ensure compliance with standards.
