Job summary

Plenitude Renewables US Inc. in Houston seeks an O&M Substation Engineer to provide advanced technical support for the operation and maintenance of utility-scale renewable assets, focusing on HV systems, electrical equipment, and control systems including SCADA and PPC.

You will diagnose issues, optimize maintenance strategies, ensure grid‑code compliance (NERC/ERCOT), and coordinate with O&M contractors and vendors to maximize asset reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in renewable energy (solar, wind, or BESS).
• HV system operations experience.
• Understanding of O&M contracts and service agreements.
• Knowledge of PV and/or wind technologies.
• Strong cost tracking and financial reporting skills.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable operation of the eBOP across the US portfolio, focusing on HV/MV systems and plant controls.
• Support compliance teams with NERC and ERCOT requirements, audits, and reporting.
• Monitor SCADA and PPC systems, manage setpoints and control logic.
• Lead troubleshooting of SCADA, communications, and PPC issues with OEMs and integrators.
• Coordinate SCADA/PPC upgrades, testing, and commissioning with vendors.
