GE Vernova, Inc. seeks an Electrical Project Engineer - Substation to lead HV/EHV substation design within a multidisciplinary team, delivering layouts, schematics, BOMs, and coordination with protection, control, and civil disciplines to meet budgets and schedules.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, power-systems experience, travel willingness (including international), and proficiency with AutoCAD and 3D modeling.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university with GPA > 3.4 (US system).
• Work experience in power systems engineering and design.
• Ability and willingness to travel, including internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Execute technical tasks for AC substation projects under the guidance of a Lead Engineer.
• Develop high voltage substation layouts, plans, elevations, BOMs, and equipment arrangements.
• Perform engineering calculations related to substation design.
• Coordinate design with protection & control and other disciplines.
• Write specifications for HV equipment and prepare material purchase requests.
• Evaluate vendor quotations for substation equipment (circuit breakers, switchgear, transformers, cables, etc.).
• Support proposal development with technical responses and clarifications.
