Job summary

Hitachi Energy in the United States is seeking a Technical Project Manager to own customer projects and orders for HV Service from handoff through execution and payment confirmation. You will verify orders, coordinate field resources, manage schedules and communicate with customers and internal teams.

You will plan large Gas Insulated Switchgear substation installations, including delivery, erection, gas handling, testing, commissioning, energization, and turnover, while supporting commercial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3–5 years of experience in relevant field preferred.
• Knowledge of high-voltage products, services, and their applications.

Responsibilities

• Own customer projects and orders from Sales handoff through execution, validation, invoicing and payment confirmation.
• Verify customer information, order documentation, contractual scope, and project requirements with the technical sales team.
• Maintain service sales order documentation in SAP and verify field service dates and job information.
• Coordinate project handoffs to field service operations and engage other departments as needed.
• Confirm product schedules, shipments, and on-time material delivery for projects with material supply.
• Communicate project updates, schedules, changes, and payment collection with customers.
• Plan, sequence, and manage GIS substation installations including civil readiness, gas handling, testing, commissioning, energization, turnover.
• Apply AI-augmented PM tools to identify risks and forecast schedules and resources.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations and guidelines.
