Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc is seeking a Technical Project Manager to own HV service projects from sales handoff to completion. You will coordinate field resources, manage schedules, and communicate with customers and internal teams to ensure milestones and payments are met.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, maintaining SAP FSM data, and planning large GIS substation installations with safety and regulatory compliance. AI-enabled tools support risk and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 3–5 years of experience.
• Work authorization to work in the United States.
• Knowledge of high-voltage products and applications.
• Experience installing and commissioning GIS substation projects.
• Ability to manage on-site installation coordinating field teams and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Own customer projects and orders from sales handoff through execution and payment.
• Verify order information, documentation, and contractual scope with technical sales.
• Maintain SAP service sales order docs and verify FSM field data.
• Coordinate handoffs to field service, confirm resources, and engage other departments.
• Plan GIS substation installations, including civil readiness, delivery, erection, testing, energization and turnover.
• Apply AI-augmented PM tools to forecast schedules, resources, and progress data.
