Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. is seeking a Technical Project Manager for High Voltage Services to own projects from sales handoff through execution, validation, invoicing, and payment, while coordinating field service resources and maintaining clear communications with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
At least five years of experience.
Experience with high-voltage GIS substation projects.

Responsibilities

Own customer projects and orders from Sales handoff through execution, validation, invoicing and payment.
Verify customer information, order documents, contractual scope, and project requirements with the technical sales team.
Coordinate project handoffs to field service operations, confirm resources, and engage other departments when clarification or input is required.
Plan, sequence, and manage large GIS substation installations, including civil readiness, equipment delivery, erection, gas handling, testing, commissioning, energization, and turnover.
Apply AI-augmented project management tools to identify risks, forecast schedules and resources, prepare documentation and reports, and monitor installation progress data.
