The ideal candidate has 5+ years of HR admin/generalist experience, 2–3 years in supervisory roles within distribution/manufacturing, and strong HRIS skills (Paycom preferred).

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, related field, or HR certification.
• Minimum 5 years of HR administrative/generalist experience.
• 2–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience within distribution or manufacturing.
• Broad working knowledge across multiple HR functions.
• HRIS and payroll system experience required; Paycom experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Ability to run reports, analyze data, and work with spreadsheets.
• Strong employee relations, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while supporting leadership at another location.

Responsibilities

• Manage timekeeping and support accurate weekly payroll processing.
• Track attendance and employee performance concerns.
• Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS/payroll system.
• Support benefits administration and employee leave processes.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, orientation, background checks, and screenings.
• Assist managers with employee relations, disciplinary documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Support performance review and merit review processes.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and OSHA requirements.
• Prepare HR reports including headcount, benefits, new hires, organizational charts, and other workforce data.
• Coordinate employee meetings, training, events, and engagement activities.
• Provide day-to-day direction, training, and workload coordination for HR support staff.
