Job summary

Burnett Staffing Specialists is seeking an hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations for a growing industrial distribution and service organization in Texas.

You will manage day-to-day HR operations, support hourly and salaried employees across warehouse, machine shop, logistics, and corporate functions, and coach managers on performance and employee relations. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience
• Experience supporting hourly industrial employees
• Experience supporting both hourly and corporate salaried employees
• Strong employee relations and performance management

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee relations.
• Support hourly and salaried employees across warehouse, machine shop, logistics, driver, and corporate functions.
• Coach managers on performance, attendance, disciplinary actions, employee relations, and workplace concerns.
• Lead semi-annual performance reviews and related documentation and development plans.
• Manage recruiting, onboarding, employee records, policies, handbook updates, and HR compliance.
• Serve as the primary liaison for payroll, benefits, workers' compensation, onboarding, and other HR functions.
• Partner with operations on OSHA, DOT, safety investigations, incident documentation, and employee safety training.
• Track key HR metrics including turnover, hiring, attendance, performance reviews, and training.
• Travel domestically up to 25%.
