A Great Company in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated bilingual Human Resources Coordinator to support hiring and onboarding for warehouse and transportation roles. You will collaborate with managers to identify staffing needs and ensure a smooth candidate experience.

Responsibilities include recruiting support, onboarding, I-9 and WOTC compliance, and conducting new hire orientations in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and sometimes high-pressure environment.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in onboarding new employees.
  • Capable of working independently and proactively anticipating needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees and management at all levels.
  • Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor with a focus on quality and urgency.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in recruiting qualified candidates for open warehouse and transportation roles by collaborating with managers to understand required skills and competencies.
  • Manage onboarding procedures for warehouse staff and drivers, including completing new hire and rehire paperwork, verifying I-9 documentation, and ensuring WOTC compliance.
  • Complete and maintain I-9 forms, verify documentation, and keep accurate I-9 files.
  • Conduct new hire orientation sessions in English and/or Spanish.
  • Respond to routine employment inquiries from applicants regarding procedures and processes.
  • Maintain employee records accurately and securely.
  • Support the processing of termination paperwork as needed.
  • Promote and uphold company culture, core values, and policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing employee requests and questions promptly.
  • Assist with employment-related questions from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex or sensitive issues to HR leadership.
  • Support HR policy interpretation and basic benefits inquiries.
  • Participate in annual open enrollment and other employee benefit activities.
  • Help organize and coordinate company employee events.
  • Perform various administrative and clerical duties to support the HR department.
