The Human Resources/Payroll Clerk performs a variety of confidential clerical, administrative, and technical duties related to employee records, personnel administration, payroll processing, benefits coordination, and employment documentation. This position helps ensure that district employees are paid accurately and on time and that personnel records and payroll transactions are maintained in accordance with district policies, applicable state and federal laws, and established accounting procedures.
The Human Resources/Payroll Clerk works closely with district administrators, building principals, employees, and the business office to support effective personnel management, accurate payroll processing, and compliance with employment and payroll requirements. Therefore, this person must maintain effective working relationships with district employees, administrators, vendors, and outside agencies.
