Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our San Antonio, TX team. The ideal candidate is mission-driven, excited about helping build the essential workforce, and thrives in a collaborative and impactful environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Ensure timely processing and accurate filing of employee documentation
  • Implement and uphold company-wide HR policies and procedures
  • Support employee compliance training initiatives
  • Coach and mentor department managers to enhance leadership capabilities
  • Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance and 401(k)
  • Maintain HRIS and organized record-keeping systems
  • Partner with the Director of Finance and Payroll to process payroll and manage timecards
  • Address employee relations matters with professionalism and care
  • Track and manage Leaves of Absence and related documentation
  • Enter and maintain data in HRIS and CRM platforms
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief of Staff

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive HR experience
  • Minimum 2 years in a management or leadership HR role
  • 2 years of payroll processing experience prefered
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws (CA law preferred)
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (Paycom strongly preferred)
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
