Responsibilities

• Fill all open salaried and hourly vacancies within established guidelines, including:
• Recruiting qualified candidates through approved recruiters and online sources.
• Arranging interviews, background checks, and reference verifications.

• Analyze and facilitate employee morale and retention initiatives such as stay interviews, surveys, and exit interviews.
• Provide guidance to managers and supervisors on issues like morale, turnover, absenteeism, and performance reviews.
• Facilitate and present training programs with support from Corporate HR.
• Communicate initiatives, deadlines, trends, and benefits through various channels.
• Lead stakeholder engagement initiatives both internally and in the community.
• Address and resolve employee relations issues.
• Administer employee benefits programs.
• Streamline processes with Corporate HR support, including FMLA, insurance claims, hires, terminations, and internal moves.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role; industry experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and listening.
• Knowledge of employment law and workers' compensation laws.
• Familiarity with recruiting and staffing practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new software.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Problem-solving abilities and good judgment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
