Job summary

Prequel Solutions is seeking an experienced Humans Resources Manager for a large-scale manufacturing organization in the New Iberia / Lafayette, LA area. This hands-on leadership role will serve as the primary HR leader for the site, partnering with site leadership while directing day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, compliance, workforce planning, and HR team development.

The ideal candidate will have strong manufacturing or high-volume operations experience, proven employee relations

Qualifications

• 7+ years of HR experience in manufacturing or high-volume operations.
• Experience leading HR professionals and teams.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.
• Experience with employee relations and investigations.

This role will serve as the primary HR leader for a fast-paced manufacturing site, partnering closely with site leadership while managing day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, compliance, workforce planning, and HR team development.

The ideal candidate will have strong manufacturing or high-volume operations experience, proven employee relations expertise, and the confidence to advise leaders, handle complex workplace issues, and support a demanding frontline workforce.

This is a hands-on HR leadership role for someone who wants visibility, impact, and the ability to help strengthen and stabilize a growing operation.

Key Qualifications:

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience
• Prior experience managing or leading HR professionals
• Strong employee relations and investigation experience
• Manufacturing, industrial, logistics, or high-volume operations experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
• HR certification preferred
