Job summary

Coma Coffee Roasters is seeking a skilled Human Resources Manager to lead recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. You will implement policies aligned with federal, state, and local labor laws, oversee onboarding/offboarding, and advise leadership on performance and compliance matters.

You will manage records, payroll-related duties, and HRIS systems while fostering a positive, inclusive culture across the team. A strong sense of discretion and professional demeanor is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HR functions, employment law, and compliance standards.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
• Proficiency in HR software and tools (HRIS, ATS, payroll systems, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; HR certification is a plus.
