LHH is partnering with a privately owned organization as they seeking a hands-on and approachable Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations and serve as a strategic business partner to leadership and employees. This role is essential to maintaining a positive workplace culture and supporting a high-performing, field-based workforce. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in benefits administration, HR compliance, and employee relations, along with a friendly, professional presence and the ability to connect with employees at all levels. This role is 100% on-site.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day HR functions including employee relations, policy administration, and performance support.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
Manage all aspects of employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans.
Coordinate and lead annual open enrollment, employee communications, and vendor relations.
Analyze benefits utilization and make recommendations to improve plan offerings and cost efficiency.
Serve as the main point of contact for employee benefits questions and issue resolution.
Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees to support engagement and retention.
Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and employee support programs that reflect company values.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong emphasis on benefits administration.
Prior experience supporting field or blue-collar employee populations is highly preferred.
Strong working knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, onsite environment.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
