Job summary

Tampa Maid Foods, Inc. is seeking an experienced HRIS Specialist to own the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of our HR information systems.

This is not basic data-entry; you will drive configurations, workflows, security, and reporting to enable accurate timekeeping, payroll readiness, and performance cycles. You will partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and operations to resolve issues, lead upgrades, develop dashboards, and ensure our HR technology is effectively

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, IS, Business Admin, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years HRIS administration, HR tech, timekeeping, payroll support
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS preferred
• Experience with system configuration, workflow design, reporting, testing, data audits, implementations
• Knowledge of time & attendance and payroll readiness processes
• Strong Excel, reporting and analytical/problem-solving skills
• Manufacturing/multi-shift environment experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and optimize HRIS modules, workflows, security roles, notifications, and system functionality
• Evaluate HRIS processes and implementations to improve efficiency, accuracy, and adoption
• Lead system upgrades, testing, data validation, and new-module implementations
• Administer time and attendance system, including schedules, approvals, and exception management
• Monitor timecard completion to ensure payroll-ready information
• Verify payroll registers and prepare payroll reports for Finance/401k
• Audit HRIS data, access, configurations, and internal controls
• Coordinate with managed payroll provider to resolve data/system issues
• Administer performance-review cycles within HRIS
• Develop reports, dashboards, and HR metrics for leadership
• Conduct regular HRIS data audits and maintain documentation
• Lead HRIS projects and process-improvement initiatives

Job description

Tampa Maid Foods is seeking an experienced HRIS Specialist to own the administration, optimization, and continued improvement of our HR information systems.

This is not a basic data-entry or administrative HR role. The HRIS Specialist will evaluate system processes, determine configurations and workflow designs, lead module enhancements, support timekeeping and payroll readiness, administer performance-management cycles, and ensure our HR technology is being fully utilized.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, technically capable, and comfortable independently resolving system issues while partnering with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and operational leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and optimize HRIS modules, workflows, security roles, notifications, and system functionality.
• Evaluate HRIS processes and module utilization and implement improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and user adoption.
• Lead system upgrades, enhancements, testing, data validation, and new-module implementations.
• Administer the time and attendance system, including schedules, workflows, approval routing, and exception management.
• Monitor timecard completion and approvals to ensure payroll-ready information is submitted by established deadline.
• Verify and approve payroll register and request necessary adjustments and process payroll reports for Finance and 401k.
• Audit employee changes, timekeeping records, paid time off, and payroll-impacting information for accuracy.
• Coordinate with the managed payroll provider to resolve data, system, and processing issues.
• Administer midyear and annual performance-review cycles within the HRIS.
• Develop and analyze reports, dashboards, and HR metrics for leadership.
• Conduct regular audits of HRIS data, system access, configurations, and internal controls.
• Develop HRIS procedures, training materials, user guides, and system documentation.
• Diagnose and resolve HRIS issues for employees, managers, and HR users.
• Lead assigned HRIS projects and process-improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least three years of HRIS administration, HR technology, timekeeping, payroll support, or related experience.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now or a comparable HRIS strongly preferred.
• Experience with system configuration, workflow design, reporting, testing, data audits, and implementations.
• Working knowledge of time and attendance and payroll-readiness processes.
• Strong Excel, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently evaluate issues, recommend solutions, and manage competing deadlines.
• Experience in a manufacturing or multi-shift environment is preferred.
