Human Resources Information System Analyst
The HRIS Analyst is a techno‑functional role that supports day‑to‑day HR systems operations by combining functional HR knowledge with hands‑on system support. This position focuses on maintaining and supporting existing HRIS platforms while partnering with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure stable and efficient operations during system changes and growth.
Base pay range
$45.00/hr - $60.00/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a techno‑functional HRIS resource, supporting both system configuration and functional HR processes
- Provide operational support for the HRIS platform, including employee data maintenance, job changes, organizational updates, and basic configuration
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Recruiting teams to troubleshoot system issues and resolve user inquiries
- Run standard and ad‑hoc reports; ensure data accuracy and data integrity across HR systems
- Assist with audits, data validation, and compliance‑related reporting
- Document HRIS processes, procedures, and system changes
- Coordinate with IT teams or vendors on system issues, updates, and integrations
- Support testing and validation for system updates, enhancements, or patches
- Help maintain system stability during parallel system operations or transitions
Required Qualifications
- Experience as an HRIS Analyst, HR Systems Analyst, or techno‑functional analyst supporting HR platforms
- Hands‑on experience with one HRIS system such as Workday, Allscripts, or UKG (Workday preferred but not required)
- Strong understanding of core HR processes (HCM, employee lifecycle, payroll, or benefits)
- Experience with HR reporting and data analysis
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare industry experience
- Exposure to HRIS implementations or system transitions in a support or backfill capacity
- Basic understanding of integrations and downstream system impacts
- Strong communication and documentation skills
