Qualifications

Temporary Assignment, Remote-based

As the Human Resources Generalist – Projects, you'll primarily be responsible for conducting a comprehensive audit of job descriptions across the organization. Your primary focus will be ensuring every active employee has an accurate, current, and signed job description on file. You will coordinate with department managers and employees to secure missing signatures, upload finalized documents into employee records, and draft new job descriptions as required.

Leveraging your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, you'll ensure the accuracy and completeness of critical employment documentation. Additionally, you may be asked to support various HR projects and initiatives, providing flexibility and assistance to the broader HR team as needed. Your collaborative approach and commitment to maintaining meticulous employee records will significantly contribute to the efficiency and compliance of our HR operations.

‖ Responsibilities Include:

  • Auditing employee job descriptions to identify gaps and ensure all active employees have current, signed documentation on file.
  • Coordinating with employees and department managers to obtain missing signatures and documentation.
  • Uploading and accurately maintaining job description documentation within employee files and the HRIS database.
  • Drafting new job descriptions in collaboration with department leadership as gaps are identified.
  • Supporting accurate recordkeeping and compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
  • Collecting, organizing, and preparing data-driven reports to support various HR-related special projects and organizational initiatives.
  • Monitoring, reviewing, and promptly responding to HR-related voicemail and email inquiries to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Performing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.

‖ Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in human resources or a closely related field of study.
  • Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a PHR, SHRM-CP or similar HR credential preferred.
  • Minimum 2yr's prior experience working in human resources, with a strong emphasis on project management and/or recordkeeping.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of HR software and/or people management systems, UKG/UltiPro preferred.
  • History of success building credibility, effectively managing multiple projects and collaborating across all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative team player who exhibits flexibility and can easily adapt to changing priorities and new initiatives.
  • Demonstrates self-confidence, focuses on execution, and finds motivation in their impact to the organization.
  • Advanced oral and written communication, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem solving, and decision-making ability.
  • Well-versed in the use of relevant technology including experience with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, database entry and basic office equipment.
