Job summary

Forge Search is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with leadership in the U.S. organization, shaping scalable people processes and delivering a best-in-class employee experience as the team grows within a global manufacturing context.

The role covers talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation/benefits, and HR operations, with ADP payroll and benefits administration as core duties.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of broad HR Generalist experience across recruiting, employee relations, benefits, performance management, and HR operations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR resource for the U.S. organization, partnering with leadership on workforce planning, organizational needs, employee engagement, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting and onboarding for hourly and salaried positions while continuously improving hiring processes, candidate experience, and employer branding.
  • Coach managers and employees on performance, development, conflict resolution, corrective actions, and other employee relations matters, including workplace investigations when necessary.
  • Oversee key HR operations, including benefits administration, compensation support, policies, employee documentation, onboarding/offboarding, HR reporting, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Serve as the primary administrator and point of contact for ADP, payroll and workers' compensation processes, HR programs, benefits providers, and insurance vendors.
  • Coordinate employee engagement, performance and development processes, leadership training, and other people initiatives in partnership with local leadership and global HR.
  • Track HR metrics and workforce trends, including turnover, time-to-fill, and engagement, and identify opportunities to strengthen processes, retention, and the overall employee experience.

Job description

We are partnering with a fast-growing manufacturing company backed by a global parent company seeking an HR Generalist to support and shape its growing organization. This role is responsible for leading core HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and HR operations.

This individual will serve as a trusted HR partner to employees and leadership while helping build scalable people processes and support a strong employee experience as the U.S. organization continues to grow.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of broad HR Generalist experience across recruiting, employee relations, benefits, performance management, and HR operations.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and compliance requirements.
  • Experience handling employee relations, investigations, and performance concerns.
  • Experience with HRIS/payroll systems and benefits administration; ADP experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, coaching, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage HR as a standalone resource in a growing organization.
  • Manufacturing, industrial, or technical environment experience preferred.
