May Institute is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to manage HR operations for our Cape Cod Southeast and Western MA Centers. Responsibilities

• Facilitate HR activities from onboarding through offboarding.
• Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees.
• Coordinate employee training related to MAP, Healthcare, and Clinical requirements.
• Process position and compensation changes; upload and review new hire forms and offer letters.
• Coordinate leaves of absence (LOA) and workers' compensation (WC).
• Respond to general HR questions and provide HR resources guidance.
• Investigate employee incidents, concerns, and complaints; support conflict resolution.
• Guide managers in addressing employee incidents, performance, and progressive discipline.
• Support employee engagement through New Hire Check-in Program, site visits, and employee forums.
• Coordinate offboarding activities to support employees at employment conclusion.

May Institute is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to manage a range of HR operations for our Cape Cod Southeast and Western MA Centers. This position requires weekly travel between our Raynham and Mashpee locations.

What You'll Do

• Human Resources Support: Facilitate HR activities that guide and support employees throughout the employment lifecycle, from onboarding through offboarding.
• Onboarding Coordination: Coordinate onboarding activities to support new employees as they transition into the organization.
• Training Coordination: Coordinate employee training related to MAP, Healthcare, and Clinical requirements.
• HR Transactions: Process position and compensation changes, upload employee documentation, and review and approve new hire forms and offer letters.
• Leave and Workers' Compensation: Coordinate activities related to leaves of absence (LOA) and workers' compensation (WC).
• Employee Support: Respond to general HR questions and provide guidance on HR processes and resources.
• Employee Relations: Investigate employee incidents, concerns, and complaints, and support conflict resolution through conflict management and mediation.
• Manager Coaching and Counseling: Guide managers in addressing employee incidents, managing performance, and applying progressive discipline.
• Employee Engagement: Support employee engagement through the New Hire Check-in Program, site visits, and employee forums.
• Offboarding Coordination: Coordinate offboarding activities to support employees through the conclusion of their employment.

What You Need

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• SHRM or PHR Certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of human resources experience.
• Good working knowledge of labor and employment laws and practices.
• Workplace investigation experience required.
• Attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
