Job summary

Lake Region Healthcare Corporation seeks an HR Operations professional to support end-to-end HR processes in a fast-paced, person-centered environment at the Fergus Falls location.

You will handle onboarding/offboarding, employee records, HRIS, leave programs, benefits, payroll data, and provide accurate, confidential service to staff and leaders. On-site role with regular daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and HRIS transactions.
• Coordinate employee health compliance, workers’ compensation, OSHA recordkeeping, and return-to-work processes.
• Provide administrative support for FMLA, Minnesota Paid Leave, disability, and other leave programs.
• Assist with benefits administration and HR data related to payroll, including reporting, audits, and compliance needs.
• Support employee communications, engagement initiatives, HR projects, and process improvements.
• Act as a trusted resource to employees and leaders while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and excellent customer service.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered
• Two or more years of experience in human resources, healthcare administration, employee health administration, workers’ compensation, leave administration, or a related administrative role preferred
• Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred

Work Location and Schedule

• Fergus Falls, MN (on-site)
• 80 hours biweekly, Monday through Friday
• Shifts: 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Primarily on-site at the Business Services Center
• Occasionally may require work outside normal office hours or outside the location

Compensation

• Wage range: $27.64 to $35.48 per hour
• Final compensation determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations
