We have an IMMEDIATE OPPORTUNITY to join our team as a part-time HR Coordinator/Recruiter. Woodhouse Spa strives to create a unique spa experience for each of our guests and cannot achieve this without people who have passion for what they do!

The HR Coordinator/Recruiter earns $20-25 per hour PLUS a GENEROUS, WORLD-CLASS BENEFITS package.

The Human Resources Coordinator/Recruiter facilitates the recruitment processes across the Fort Worth and Plano locations. This position will identify, recruit and screen potential employees. They will coordinate in-person interviews and the spa provider practical, conduct reference checks, pre-hire, and employee set-up. This role provides administrative support to the human resources functions as needed including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry. This position collaborates with another HR Coordinator and works with spa leadership to ensure understanding of staffing and position needs. The HR Coordinator/Recruiter has a broad understanding of general spa operations, spa culture, the “Woodhouse Way.” The Coordinator/Recruiter is responsible for conforming to THE WOODHOUSE standards set forth in the Team member Handbook and Operations Manual and will strive each day to exceed guest expectations.

Responsibilities (essential functions):

  • Consults with HR Coordinator and leadership to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).
  • Identifies and selects potential candidates for vacant positions
  • Counsel’s candidates on the interview and hiring process
  • Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase.
  • Arranges and coordinates interviews and calendar invite with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Follows up with candidates and hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects candidate evaluations and feedback.
  • Conducts reference checks
  • Enters candidates into HRIS system
  • Generates offer letters
  • Conducts background checks
  • Ensures pre-hire paperwork is completed
  • Coordinates first day on-boarding and training
  • Collects and analyzes data to maintain current understanding of business needs, fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular positions.
  • Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines
  • Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • Able to present the company mission clearly and confidently

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Previous experience as a recruiter, human resources coordinator, or related position

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required
  • Three years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.
