Overview

The HR Coordinator is responsible for a broad range of human resources activities in support of Cotiviti's employees in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Australia. The HR Coordinator provides administrative support throughout the HR lifecycle and directly supports business lines defined by the HR Business Partner model. This position serves as a primary contact for employees, answering questions regarding company policies and practices and directing concerns to the appropriate HR Representative as needed.

Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate onboarding process, including reviewing background and reference checks, providing hiring manager support, leading new hire orientation, and processing employees into the HRIS system.
  2. Administer immigration matters regarding Form I-9, E-Verify, and re-verification for onsite and remote employees.
  3. Serve as a key contact for new hires and general employee requests for information on HR policies, programs, onboarding, and benefits.
  4. Initiate and document changes in the HRIS system for new hires, employee changes, agency temps, and terminations.
  5. Lead the offboarding process, including creating separation documents, coordinating exit interviews, and terminating user access in HR and IT systems.
  6. Coordinate onboarding, extension, and offboarding of agency temps; collaborate with TA team, staffing agencies, and hiring managers.
  7. Provide daily administrative support for HR Operations, maintaining compliance postings and responding to unemployment claims.
  8. Ensure data integrity and regularly audit HRIS system and employee records/files.
  9. Run and request accurate HR reports and metrics.
  10. Participate in special projects as needed and complete responsibilities outlined on annual Performance Plan.
  11. Complete all other duties as assigned and perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications
  1. Associate's degree or equivalent experience; 4-year degree preferred with HR focus.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR.
  3. PHR/SHRM-CP certification or pursuit preferred.
  4. Bilingual in English/Spanish highly preferred.
  5. Experience with HRIS and ATS systems; UKG Pro and iCims preferred.
  6. Exceptional client service skills and ability to handle confidential information.
  7. Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and demonstrate flexibility.
  8. Extreme attention to detail and results-oriented mindset.
  9. Effective communication skills with all employee levels.
  10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
  • Remaining stationary, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Communicating with others to exchange information.
  • Repeating motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Assessing the accuracy and thoroughness of work.
  • No adverse environmental conditions expected.

Base pay ranges from $24.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience and other factors.
