Wray Community District Hospital is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to provide office and administrative support for Human Resources and Administration on an onsite basis in Wray, Colorado. In this role, you will help keep HR operations moving smoothly by coordinating key hiring steps, supporting employee information processes, and serving as a central point of contact for staff and applicants.

You will work closely with the Human Resources team to manage interviews, orientations, correspondence, payroll and timekeeping assistance, scheduling, filing, mail delivery and sorting, and onboarding support. The position also requires careful handling of employment verification requests and maintaining employee confidentiality across all HR duties.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service for the Human Resources Department.
• Act as the primary greeter for employees and applicants.
• Answer Human Resources questions and direct other inquiries to the appropriate staff for resolution.
• Handle correspondence with general applicants, including setting up interviews, candidate follow up, filing applications, and responding to applicant and candidate questions and concerns.
• Verify employment and maintain employee confidentiality in all duties.
• Process new hire paperwork, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
• Coordinate and perform new hire onboarding.
• Assist employees in keeping information up to date within payroll and HR management systems (HRIS).
• Maintain procedures and controls that support effective communication and appropriate information flow among the team and facility.
• Serve as backup for Human Resources staff as needed, including support related to payroll.
• Provide broader office and administrative support for Human Resources and Administration, including interview and orientation preparation, administrative correspondence, payroll assistance, timekeeping assistance, scheduling, filing, and mail delivery/sorting, as directed by the Director of Human Resources and Administration.

Pay

$20.41 - $32.59 per hour (USD 20 - 32 hourly stated range).
