Job description


HR Coordinator
Location: On-site in Tustin, CA

Vaco is partnering with a leading distributor to recruit an experienced HR Coordinator. This full-time, on-site role supports the field HR team and a workforce of approximately 3,000 California-based employees. We're seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful professional with 3-5 years of HR experience who is eager to grow within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide support across HR functions including onboarding, benefits, payroll, employee relations, compliance, and recruiting.

  • Manage and validate employee records, including I-9 verification and data entry in HRIS (SuccessFactors or similar).

  • Create and interpret reports, draft correspondence, and support documentation needs.

  • Respond to employee inquiries, manage mailings, and fulfill record requests.

  • Assist in preparing presentations, tracking HR metrics, and coordinating with team members on key initiatives.

Requirements:


  • 3-5 years of experience in HR coordination, HR operations, or a similar role.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms (SuccessFactors or equivalent).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and strong time management.

  • Proven discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
