Top 3 (4) Required Skills:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel & Adobe Writer: Strong skills in Microsoft Word for document creation, formatting, along with Excel for managing data, conducting compliance tracking, and reporting. Proficiency in Adobe Writer is valuable for reviewing, editing, and ensuring compliance in digital documents. Knowledge of working with Pivot Tables and V-Lookup.

- Monitor Compliance Practices: Ensure that Healthcare Sanctions, visa process, re-verification of I-9 documents, licenses & certifications are compliant with applicable laws and regulations, conducting regular audits and reviews of employment-related documentation.
- Manage Documentation and Reporting: Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Writer for creating and managing compliance-related documents, reports, and audits. Use in-house system and Excel for tracking and reporting compliance data in a timely manner.
- Prepare for External Audits or Inspections: Organize and prepare documentation needed for external audits or government inspections. Coordinate with auditors and ensure all requested information is provided accurately and promptly.
JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Compliance role is a key position that interfaces with all levels of staff throughout the organization. This role ensures that all employee records and compliance reports are up to standard. The HR Compliance Generalist (Compliance) is responsible for ensuring the workforce meets all HR-related compliance requirements for employment, including validating Health Sanctions reporting and managing the database that tracks all employee disciplines. The incumbent will report on upcoming licenses/certifications and follow up on delinquencies. They oversee efforts related to verifying employee skills and credentials, managing employee records for legal actions, and supporting hospital surveys. The role also involves representing the organization during inspections, conducting compliance checks, liaising with the University on VISA/immigration/I9 matters, and supporting HR policies and reports.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- Required: HS Diploma
- Preferred: BS in Related Field
Work Experience
- Required: One (1) year of Human Resources Operations support experience
- Preferred: Experience in healthcare industry
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and HRMS System
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of communicating with all levels of employees
- Critical thinking skills
Licenses/Certifications
- Required: Fire Life Safety Training (LA City); must be obtained within 30 days if not already held
- Preferred: HR Certification
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Maintain and complete HR compliance reports on time
- Manage workforce databases for regulatory compliance
- Update and track employee disciplinary records
- Report upcoming licenses/certifications and follow up on delinquencies
