Job description

The Human Resources Coordinator is an employee champion and provides guidance regarding HR policy and administration, employee relations, and performance management. The incumbent maintains employee records and monitors employee relations procedures. The HR Coordinator may also provide business partner support for action planning, focus groups and process review.

  • Position is on-site in our Tucson, AZ contact center.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

  • Monitors and maintains HRIS records including processing for new hires, separations and status changes. Conducts new hire orientations, employee focus groups & feedback sessions and exit interviews. Creates and audits employee relations policy and procedure.
  • Partners with operations to administer performance management at agent and first line leader levels. Includes process and document review and data analysis to ensure consistency.
  • Supports business initiatives via engaged employees. Initiates and / or monitors survey action plans to increase engagement, productivity, & retention while improving customer service.
  • Works closely with 1st line management and agents to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.
  • Engages with HR team members to conduct investigations and respond to employee relations issues, including employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints. Additionally, may conduct and document employee investigations including next steps and recommended actions.
  • Facilitates the internal requisition process for non-agent positions. Provides periodic support to Talent Acquisition during critical needs hiring.
  • Ideal candidates will possess experience in succession planning, employee and leadership development, and performance management. This role is critical for ensuring a robust leadership pipeline, fostering the growth of future leaders, and driving overall organizational performance.

Minimum Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills) :

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience. Bachelor's degree with emphasis in human resources studies preferred.
  • One to three years of human resources or other relevant experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office 365. HRIS and corresponding applicant tracking system experience a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Tailors communication to audience needs.
  • Ability to self-direct and handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to pay attention to detail.
  • Keeps business partners informed of status and progress.
  • Seeks collaborative solutions to address organizational needs.
  • Builds cross functional relationships and demonstrates emotional intelligence.
  • Can articulate through process and rationale behind decision making.
  • Demonstrates advanced levels of interpersonal, consulting and coaching capabilities.

Working Conditions and Environment :

Incumbent works in a temperature-controlled office environment. Incumbent sits at a desk during regularly scheduled work hours; answers and makes telephone calls using a standard telephone; types on a standard keyboard; reads and comprehends information from a computer terminal and / or written resources.
