Job description

Human Resources Coordinator

Create and maintain filing systems. Create and type office correspondence using a computer. Distribute and route mail. Order and track Human Resources office supplies and forms. Answer phone calls and record messages. Create new employee personnel files. Assist walk-in candidates with application procedures. Maintain the application area, ensuring it is clean, well-maintained, and accessible to individuals with disabilities. Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company and Human Resources programs, policies, and guidelines. Inform HR management of employee relations issues. Maintain confidentiality and security of employee and property records, files, and information. Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files (e.g., interview documents, I-9s).

Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure a professional appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions. Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards. Communicate clearly and professionally, prepare and review documents accurately, and answer telephones with proper etiquette. Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns. Ensure adherence to quality standards. Use computers and point of sale systems to enter and locate work-related information. Lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • No certifications necessary
