Job summary

Opening in Fall 2025, Capitol Park Mental Health Hospital, a 144-bed facility located at the former site of Bethesda Hospital, will offer inpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization mental health treatments.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, benefits orientation, employee training programs, hiring support, job analysis, and compensation analysis.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees and supervisors regarding HR inquiries.
  • Use judgment and discretion to handle HR issues and escalate complex concerns to senior HR staff.
  • Maintain employee data in UltiPro, ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Manage onboarding and termination processes, including data entry in UltiPro and communication with relevant departments.
  • Perform activities across various functions, interacting directly with corporate employees on planning, problem resolution, process improvement, and reporting.
  • Interpret and communicate organizational policies and procedures.
  • Advise employees and management on HR practices, policies, processes, and expectations.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in an HR office environment required.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Professional HR certification preferred.
