Position Overview
We are seeking a bilingual Human Resources Coordinator to support the day-to-day HR needs of a fast-paced organization in the Miami area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career HR professional who wants to expand their experience across employee support, HR documentation, benefits inquiries, performance management, employee engagement, recruiting coordination, and general HR operations.
The selected candidate will work closely with employees, management, and the broader HR team. On-the-job training will be provided for certain employee-relations and documentation responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department.
- Respond to routine employee questions and direct more complex matters to the appropriate HR team member.
- Assist employees with benefits-related questions and enrollment information.
- Prepare and maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist with disciplinary documentation and performance appraisals after completing required training.
- Support employee-engagement activities and broader HR initiatives.
- Partner with managers and HR team members to address workforce needs.
- Assist with candidate coordination and other recruiting-related activities as needed.
- Prepare reports and organize HR information using Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling employee and business information.
- Build positive working relationships with employees, managers, vendors, candidates, and outside organizations.
- Provide administrative coverage and support for additional business needs when required.
- Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following experience and education paths:
- At least one year of current work experience in a Human Resources department; or
- At least one year of current administrative experience with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Additional requirements include:
- Ability to speak, read, and write professionally in both English and Spanish.
- Current authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.
- Ability to work fully onsite in Miami, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Ability to work extended hours, holidays, or weekends when business needs require.
- Working knowledge of employment laws, HR guidelines, and applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
- Ability to learn to prepare employee documentation, including disciplinary actions and performance appraisals, within the first three months of employment.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to learn and work with Excel functions and features such as IF statements, VLOOKUPs, conditional formatting, and PivotTables.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to follow established procedures and exercise sound judgment.
- Ability to obtain the required site-access credential within 30 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience responding to employee benefits inquiries.
- Experience supporting performance appraisals or employee documentation.
- Experience supporting employee engagement or general employee-relations activities.
- Active HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.

This is a fully onsite position in Miami. Candidates must be available to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and provide additional schedule flexibility when business needs require it.
