Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Temporary, Full-Time HR Assistant to join our HR team. In this role, you will provide essential support across a variety of HR functions, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our department. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with HR experience who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys contributing to multiple aspects of human resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and managing internal communications including but not limited to a monthly newsletter, PowerPoint presentations and Company announcements
- Plan and execute social events, internal and external.
- Apply technical skills and creativity to create and/or improve current processes.
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Manage employee onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Coordinate new hire employee evaluations and support performance management initiatives.
- Utilize HR software systems such as iCIMS, Taleo, , SAP, and Kronos for tracking employee data and managing HR processes.
- Support conflict management efforts by addressing employee concerns and facilitating resolutions.
- Collaborate with management on various HR projects to improve workplace culture and employee engagement.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an HR role, with a strong understanding of human resources principles and practices.
- Experience using ADP or alternate payroll system for payroll and employee data management.
- Excellent computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and TEAMS.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Creative flair for designing newsletters and bulletin boards that effectively engage employees.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
