Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Human Resources, this position assists with the organization and processes that provide maximum support to the teachers, administrators, and support staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Organize and coordinate Daily Substitute employees.
  2. Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  3. Process change requests from employees.
  4. Assist payroll by reviewing entries and reconciliation reports.
  5. Assist with human resources projects.
  6. Schedule meetings and interviews as requested by the Director of Human Resources and Employee Relations.
  7. Prepare transfer and offer letters.
  8. Assist with the processing of terminations.
  9. Make photocopies; mail, scan, and email documents; and perform other clerical functions.
  10. File documents into the appropriate employee files.
  11. Assist or prepare correspondence as requested.
  12. Process mail.
  13. Familiarize with other team members' duties and assist with projects during peak times.
  14. Assist the Human Resources Generalist as needed.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.
Skillset
  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  4. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  5. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll software.
  6. Ability to work successfully and collaboratively in a deadline-based environment.
  7. Ability to maintain confidentiality and data integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. Associate's degree in human resources or a related field, or at least two years of experience in a Human Resources role.
  2. Demonstrated proficiency in Google Docs.
Reports To

Assistant Director of Human Resources

Terms of Employment

Twelve-month work year.

Salary

This is an exempt position. Salary is commensurate with experience and education.
