The company owns and operates three cultivation facilities (Mesa & Tempe), a state-of-the-art extraction lab (Tempe), and well-established retail dispensaries (Glendale, Chandler, Phoenix, Queen Creek, Mesa, Flagstaff, Tucson). About The Position
The Human Resource Coordinator is responsible for supporting and enhancing recruitment and staffing efforts across all departments, including managing the hiring process for both staff and contractors. This role involves key tasks such as job posting, applicant screening, interview scheduling, and overseeing onboarding procedures. Additionally, the coordinator maintains the HRIS system, develops and tracks various reports, and seeks to improve operational processes. While the focus is on recruitment and administrative tasks, the role also includes general HR support as needed.
Job Duties And Responsibilities - Hr Coordinator
- Job Posting: Create and manage job advertisements on job boards and company websites.
- Resume Screening: Review resumes and applications to shortlist qualified candidates.
- Interview Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- New Hire Documentation: Prepare and process new hire paperwork, including contracts and benefits enrollment.
- Orientation: Facilitate orientation sessions to introduce new hires to company policies and culture.
- Timecard Management: Accurately update employee timecards, ensuring proper entry of pto, sick time and other time-off requests.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personal information and employment history.
- Call Out Management: Track and manage employee call-outs, ensuring proper documentation and communication with managers.
- Data Reporting: Generate and analyze HR reports on metrics such as turnover rates and recruitment statistics.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support for HR activities, including scheduling meetings and preparing documents.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Required)
- Must be 21+ years old.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an AZDHS Facility Agent Card.
- At least two (2) years of Recruitment and Onboarding experience.
- Attention to detail and ability and willingness to follow instructions.
- Able to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and communication - show up to work when you say you will and do what you say you will do.
- Quick learner and willing to be coachable and flexible with work tasks.
- Criminal background checks will be performed; most marijuana-related crimes will not negatively impact an application.
- Associate's degree
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (Preferred)
- Experience in the cannabis industry (formal or informal).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
- Experience with Greenlink HRIS a plus.

Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour
