Role Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the HR Department by providing comprehensive administrative and operational assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversees the completion and organization of pre-employment documentation for new hires.
- Conducts reference checks and background screenings; manages offer rescind processes as needed.
- Sends timely compliance reminders to management regarding required documentation and actions.
- Maintains up-to-date records of employee driver's licenses and auto insurance documentation.
- Inputs and updates applicant and new hire information in recruitment software, ensuring accurate workflow tracking.
- Coordinates internal staff movements including transfers, promotions, and compensation adjustments.
- Scans, files, and maintains employee records and HR documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Acts as payroll backup person for submission of the bi-weekly payroll.
- Supports monthly motor vehicle records (MVR) compliance.
- Drafts and distributes the monthly employee newsletter highlighting key updates and initiatives.
- Collaborates with external marketing partners to maintain and update company website content.
- Assists in managing internal and external job postings to support recruitment efforts.
- Shares the responsibility of front desk coverage, including greeting visitors, answering phones, and managing incoming deliveries.
- Identifies and recommends opportunities for process improvements within HR operations.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications
- Experience working in human resources a plus.
- Experience working in an administrative role/office setting preferred.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft office applications.
- Must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, access to and reliable insured vehicle.
- Demonstrate skills in reading, writing, and speaking the English language fluently.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Willingness to take initiative, adapt to circumstances, and work independently.
- Requires excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and vendors.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse work environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism is required in order to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive and issues.
