The HR Coordinator performs a wide range of duties related to the day-to-day human resources team operations. This position requires a highly organized professional who can juggle many priorities at once, deliver high quality work, and provide excellent customer service to all levels within the organization from the Leadership Team to HR team members.
Broad responsibilities include :
- Administer the UTIMCO Scholars student program, including candidate sourcing, educational content, partner relationships, and project management
- Leverage HRIS to support all HR functions, including reporting, data requests, and personnel information
- Maintain electronic employee files using the HRIS (UKG), using processes and workflows to ensure timely and effective outcomes
- Perform some team administrative functions including scanning files, data entry, uploading sensitive documentation into the HRIS, and record retention
- Coordinate the recruiting and onboarding function by creating and posting positions, scheduling and setting up interviews, requesting background checks, and preparing materials for new hire onboarding
- Maintain company organization chart, employee directory, employee and benefit handbooks and HR data on intranet and web pages
- Respond to routine inquiries from employees, managers, and third-party verification agencies, escalating questions when appropriate
- Coordinate organization wide opportunities and workshops for the UTIMCO Learning Institute, including communicating with learning resources, both internally and with external experts/faculty, and utilizing the HRIS learning management system
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
Requirements :
- Professional experience with strong interest in Human Resources
- Analytical, data and efficiency driven and tech savvy with a desire to leverage technologies to drive process improvement
- Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience running reports, editing, and exporting data in Excel
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
- Team player with constructive, “can do” attitude committed to consistently doing what is best for the organization

Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources
- Experience working with Human Resources records and data (HRIS)
- Knowledgeable in HR tasks, talent management processes, and programs
- Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a changing environment
- Strong PowerPoint and graphic design skills
- Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative atmosphere
