Job summary

ATAIA Spa Club, a new wellness destination opening in Old Bridge, NJ, seeks an HR & Compliance Manager to join the founding leadership team. You will build HR processes, keep records compliant, and guide managers through employee relations.

Ideal candidates have meaningful NJ HR experience, a background in hospitality/spa, and SHRM/HRCI certification is a plus. Opportunity to shape culture and policies as ATAIA grows.

• Exceptional organization, discretion and judgment.
• New Jersey HR experience highly desirable.
• Hospitality, spa or wellness experience a plus.
• SHRM or HRCI certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build the hiring, onboarding, personnel-file and training systems before we open.
• Coordinate recruiting and screening for spa, culinary, guest services, operations and management roles.
• Keep licenses, certificates, training and compliance records current and inspection-ready.
• Guide managers through employee relations, performance issues and terminations fairly and objectively.
• Keep the Employee Handbook and policies current, and partner with outside counsel when needed.

Compensation: $55,000- $65,000 per year, based on experience

Are you the person who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks?

We're looking for an HR & Compliance Manager to join our founding leadership team. You'll like people, and you'll also like documentation, because HR without good documentation eventually becomes a problem. You'll help us hire properly, stay compliant and build the employment foundation ATAIA will grow on.

What You'll Do

• Build the hiring, onboarding, personnel-file and training systems before we open
• Coordinate recruiting and screening for spa, culinary, guest services, operations and management roles
• Keep licenses, certificates, training and compliance records current and inspection-ready
