Job description

Jabil is seeking an experienced Human Resources Assistant to work in the Florence, KY location.

How will you make an impact?

As a Human Resources Assistant with Jabil, you will support the Human Resources Managers and Generalists across the site.

What will you do?
  1. Provide support and assistance to the HR department as needed.
  2. Employee relations – Communicate and interpret HR policies and procedures. Coach and consult with managers and employees on issues including performance, terminations, sexual harassment, discrimination, etc.
  3. Organize and coordinate all calendar events such as theme days, new hire orientations, safety shoe days, etc.
  4. Order supplies for HR and Employee Engagement.
  5. Coordinate and promote Jabil programs like Jabil Cares Involvement, Respect, and Recognition.
  6. Schedule and coordinate Town Hall meetings for the campus.
  7. Benefits – Communicate benefit changes, educate associates, and coordinate open enrollment. Address benefit-related questions and issues.
  8. Participate in team projects related to strategic initiatives as directed by the HR Manager.
  9. Adhere to safety, health, and security policies and procedures.
  10. Assist with daily and monthly reports and department documentation.
  11. Distribute documentation and ensure the use of department systems.
  12. Maintain filing systems, update organizational charts, attendance records, and other documentation.
  13. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma required.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 4 years in an administrative role, preferably in HR or a plant environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
  • Attention to detail and flexibility with hours, including some overtime.
