Job summary

The Riverside County Treasurer-Tax Collector is seeking an Administrative Services Analyst I to support the Human Resources Unit. The role involves assisting with recruitments, handling FMLA/CFRA/PDL inquiries, updating policies, and responding to staff questions related to HR matters.

The incumbent will work on employee transactions, training updates, and enrollment materials, with opportunities to handle workers' compensation and other HR-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of administration, organization and management to analyze operations and programs.
• Knowledge of fiscal management and budgetary control; grantsmanship; supervision basics; contract monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and conduct studies of administrative, operational facilities management activities including fiscal operations, budget preparation and control, equipment usage, staffing patterns, workflow and space utilization.
• Develop reports and recommendations based on data analysis.
• Prepare or assist in budgets by analyzing needs and reviewing financial data to ensure conformance with guidelines; consider fund transfers.
• Establish and monitor contract forms and procedures; ensure adherence to terms.
• Research grant funding availability and applicability; assist in grant proposals and monitor implementation.
• Develop policies and procedures; write procedures to clarify standard practices; design or improve forms.
• Coordinate publication and dissemination of procedures; review legislation to determine impact.
• Participate in meetings; present or gather data to aid management in decisions.
• May direct, train, and evaluate subordinate staff in standard tasks.
