Job summary

Shaw is seeking an HR professional to support multiple facilities in NW Georgia, including Dalton and Cartersville. The role focuses on fundamentals of HR functions, investigations, and associate relations, with involvement in staffing and talent development.

The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS in HR, strong legal acumen, and the ability to collaborate across teams. Some travel between facilities is required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in HR management or related field is required.
• General Business & Employment Law acumen is expected.

Job description

• Learn the fundamentals of HR functions at Shaw, including total rewards, HR compliance and employee relations, talent acquisition, learning and development, LOA, and more
• Conduct investigations
• Assist with associate experience projects at facilities
• Address associate concerns and determine best next steps
• Assist with maintaining staffing levels
• Provide support to assigned business areas of manufacturing facilities and other operations areas as needed
• Assist with succession planning and talent development
• Complete other tasks and projects as assigned

Requirements

• BA/BS Degree in HR management or related field
