Job summary

Shaw is seeking an HR professional to support multiple facilities in NW Georgia, including Dalton and Cartersville. The role focuses on fundamentals of HR functions, investigations, and associate relations, with involvement in staffing and talent development.

The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS in HR, strong legal acumen, and the ability to collaborate across teams. Some travel between facilities is required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in HR management or related field is required.
• General Business & Employment Law acumen is expected.
• Ability to operate successfully within a team.
• Ability to manage and resolve conflict.
• Ability to coach peers or others.
• Ability to influence/communicate across the workforce.

Responsibilities

• Learn fundamentals of HR functions including total rewards, compliance, and employee relations.
• Conduct investigations.
• Assist with associate experience projects at facilities.
• Address associate concerns and determine next steps.
• Assist with staffing levels and travel between facilities.
