Job summary

Menards is seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to support store-wide recruitment, interview and orientation activities, and to facilitate ongoing Training and development for Team Members. You will work closely with the General Manager and HR team to maintain a positive environment and ensure policies are followed.

The role emphasizes payroll optimization, handling Team Member concerns promptly, and applying HR programs including drug-free workplace compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment, interview and orientation processes.
• Ability to train and develop team members using corporate training programs.
• Knowledge of payroll processes and maximizing payroll dollars.
• Leadership experience or potential in managing store teams.
• HR-related degree or coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and maintaining a positive environment for all Team Members
• Coordinate and participate in new Team Member recruitment, interview and selection activities, and orientation.
• Facilitate Team Member Training and development, utilizing corporate training programs.
• Use company software to insure maximization of payroll dollars
• Ensure all Team Member concerns are addressed and resolved in a timely manner
• Ensure Team Member-related programs and policies, including the drug-free workplace program, are followed.
