Job summary

Menards is seeking an HR Coordinator to join our team in a retail management environment. You will support recruitment, orientation, and training programs while ensuring a positive workplace for all Team Members. You’ll help with payroll-related objectives and uphold company policies, including a drug-free workplace.

The role emphasizes leadership, strong customer service, and the ability to develop and guide team members. A human resources-related degree is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration with emphasis on HR is preferred but not required.
• Outstanding customer service skills are desired.
• Ability to lead and develop a team; leadership experience or HR-related degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and maintaining a positive environment for all Team Members.
• Coordinate recruitment, interviews, selection activities, and orientation for new Team Members.
• Facilitate Team Member training and development using corporate training programs.
• Use company software to maximize payroll dollars.
• Address and resolve Team Member concerns promptly.
• Ensure Team Member programs and policies, including drug-free workplace, are followed.
