Job summary

The Kraft Group & Affiliates is seeking an HR Support Professional to assist the shared service center, acting as the first line of contact for HR questions from managers and employees. You will handle onboarding, document management, and ongoing HR inquiries in a confidential, compliant environment.

The role requires 0-2 years of experience, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree. Strong customer service skills and proficiency in MS Office are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exemplary customer service to employees, managers, and the HR Team; resolve issues timely and escalate when needed.
  • Manage onboarding and document management for new hires and rehires, including I-9 and E-verify.
  • Complete employment verification including background checks, references, drug tests, and physicals.
  • Review and record all required documentation and licenses/certifications.
  • Issue Total Pay cards when direct deposit is unavailable.
  • Respond to unemployment claims and coordinate hearings.
  • Coordinate interval documentation certification and oversight for business units.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local law in employment practices.
  • Handle special projects as needed.
  • Maintain and protect personally identifiable information per privacy standards.

Job description

Summary

This position will be primarily responsible for supporting the shared service center. The shared service center is the first line of contact for managers or employees HR related questions.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Provide exemplary customer service to employees, managers, and the HR Team. Exemplary customer service will be demonstrated through conflict mitigation, providing appropriate and timely answers to questions, escalating unresolved concerns through the ticket system for resolution. Monitor ticket issue resolution when assigned for timeliness within 48 hours.
  • As assigned, manage the timely and accurate on-boarding and document management for new hires and rehires including:
  • Managing I-9 and E-verify process for all assigned hires and rehires, communicate Tentative Non-Confirmations, follow-up and communicate to HRM any pending issues for resolution on a timely basis. Ensure confirmation receipt is recorded.
  • Completing employment verification including all required background checks, references, drug tests, and physicals, actioning adverse findings as appropriate.
  • Review and record all required documentation and relevant licenses and certifications.
  • Issuing Total Pay cards in the absence of a direct deposit designation.
  • Respond and manage unemployment claims including hearings. Ensure timely follow up and issue escalation to the relevant HRM.
  • Coordinate required interval documentation certification and oversight for respective business units including but not limited to Kraft Soccer and DOT.
  • Remain proficient and current in all HR Disciplines to ensure optimal problem resolution and service. Administer all employment practices and policies in strict compliance with Federal, State and Local Law.
  • Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
  • Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.
