Job Title: Human Resource Coordinator at Genpak

Role

The Human Resource Coordinator supports all HR functions for a 24/7 manufacturing facility. This highly collaborative role requires strong organizational, follow-up, and communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Lead recruitment and onboarding, including identifying qualified candidates, participating in interviews, scheduling plant tours, preparing offer letters, coordinating pre-employment requirements, and conducting new employee orientations.
  2. Support recruitment for hourly positions by collaborating with managers, standardizing candidate selection, and ensuring postings.
  3. Develop understanding of company policies and foster a positive work environment.
  4. Support performance management processes, including timely reviews and administering merit increases.
  5. Coordinate employee benefits, including open enrollment, employee education, and understanding of options.
  6. Oversee payroll management, ensuring updates to employee status and data are processed accurately and timely.
  7. Support case management for employee leaves, disability, and accommodations.
  8. Assist in developing employee appreciation programs and events.
  9. Supervise Payroll/Human Resource Assistant.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with payroll systems.
