Key Responsibilities

As a Human Resource Coordinator at dnata catering, your primary responsibility will be to support the Human Resource Generalist in various HR functions. You will coordinate employee training and development programs, organize training sessions, track attendance, evaluate program effectiveness, contribute to employee engagement initiatives, assist with benefits administration, and support HR projects and initiatives such as performance management, employee surveys, and policy development.

dnata is one of the world’s largest air services providers, established in 1959, operating in 127 airports with ground handling, cargo, travel, and flight catering services across 35 countries. We handle over 1,900 flights daily, move over 8,500 tons of cargo, book over 16,000 hotel stays, and uplift over 320,000 meals daily.

You Will

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with all internal HR inquiries or requests.
  • Maintain employee records, both hard and digital.
  • Complete I-9 Forms, verify documentation, and maintain files.
  • Review and approve weekly timecards for payroll processing.
  • Prepare and process PAFs for employee transactions.
  • Generate headcount and labor reports for management and corporate.
  • Administer employee recognition programs, company bulletin boards, and newsletters.
  • Enforce HR and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Manage the company's safety and workers' compensation programs.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and annual performance reviews.
  • Support recruitment and interview processes, track candidate status in HRIS, and follow up accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws.
  • Administer employee uniform, parking, and badge systems.

NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Other duties as assigned.

This salary range is influenced by experience, qualifications, location, and other factors.

You Have

EDUCATION: Associate degree in human resources plus 2-3 years of HR experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years broad HR experience.
  • Understanding of Massachusetts HR functions and best practices.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems, preferably ADP & ICIMS.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexible schedule and regular attendance.
  • Experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality preferred, especially in unionized environments.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Demands: Ability to multi-task, attention to detail, punctuality, following instructions, and working quickly under time constraints.

Physical Demands: Standing, walking, reaching, lifting up to 30 pounds, and proper use of equipment.

Work Environment: Indoors with varying noise levels.
