Job summary

Cornerstone Residential is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for HUD/LIHTC properties. The role supports the Property Manager with leasing, renewals, financial reporting, and resident communications at assigned residential properties.

Full-Time, hourly position, Monday–Friday 8 am–5 pm, with monthly commissions potential. Requires at least two years in property management with HUD/LIHTC experience and strong customer service and marketing abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum two years’ property management industry experience with HUD/LIHTC experience.
• Experience marketing properties and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Property Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Record daily monetary transactions and maintain bookkeeping procedures.
• Respond promptly to resident concerns and process move-in paperwork.
• Manage renewals, marketing activities, and resident retention programs.
• Oversee maintenance requests and monitor utility usage and expenses.
• Ensure timely rent collection and legal notices related to evictions.
