Job summary

Cornerstone Residential is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for HUD/LIHTC properties in Atlanta. You will support the Property Manager with operations, leasing, renewals, collections, and reporting for assigned residential property.

The role is full-time, hourly, non-exempt, with a Monday–Friday 8 am–5 pm schedule. Compensation ranges from $25 to $33.64 per hour, with monthly commissions and quarterly bonuses eligible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years’ property management industry experience and HUD/LIHTC experience.
• One-Site or other property management software experience.
• Must have reliable transportation, insurance, and a valid driver’s license.
• Proven ability to market properties.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist Property Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Respond to resident concerns and inquiries promptly.
• Prepare move-in paperwork, keys, and remotes for new residents.
• Inspect make-ready apartments prior to move-in.
• Maintain and renew a resident renewal program to boost retention.
• Assist with maintenance requests and monitor work orders.
• Monitor rent collection and ensure timely posting.
• Provide marketing support to attract prospective residents.
• Support overall property operations as needed.
